This Morganton Airbnb keeps raising the bar on what guests find when they walk the property. We have already converted its lower level into a game room and built the backyard putting green. The latest addition is a Redwood Outdoors barrel sauna, assembled and installed on the covered lower deck.
Placed where it earns its keep
The sauna sits under the main deck, a few steps from the hot tub, so guests can move between steam and soak without leaving the covered deck. The covered placement keeps weather off the staves, and the deck footing gave us the level, load-bearing base a barrel sauna needs.
The view from the bench
The best detail is inside. The panoramic rear window lines up with the backyard, so the view from the bench is the putting green, the fire pit chairs, and the trees beyond the fence line. We assembled the barrel stave by stave, set the benches, and mounted the Harvia electric heater on its stand, with the electrical hookup coordinated so the owners were guest-ready right away.
The full photo set is in our portfolio, and if you are weighing a sauna for your own cabin or rental, our outdoor sauna assembly write-up covers what goes into a proper install. Send photos of your site through the estimate form and we will quote it without a visit.
